Remarks: I've been married 31 years, owned and lived at the same residence for 25 yearsand for the last six years I've been driving for Whatcom
Transportation Authority. I also owned "Donna's Occasional Cakes" for 15 years while the girls were in school closing in 2002. Our children, Shannan and Jerilyn, also graduated from MBHS.
I don't have any retirement plans for at least another six years unless plans change. Sue Finsrud and I are trying to organize the 45th reunion; Sue is doing all the work actually. When you get your letter, please return it and plan to join in on the festivities.

met at Multnomah School of the Bible in
Portland, OR.
Following graduation we were married and have
had the privilege of ministering in North Africa,
Maine, Spain, Oregon and Washington. In 2000
we moved back to the family homestead in Acme
where I grew up. Since 2006 Don has been Pastor
of the Little Brown Chapel in Wickersham, a tiny
town just five miles down the road from us and
we both work four days a week at Bellair Airporter
Shuttle's Ferndale office.
God has blessed us with four wonderful children,
and a dozen grandchildren. Elizabeth lives in
Seattle, Josh in Spain, Dan is the closest, he
owns Dan's Automotive in Bellingham, and
John lives in Oregon.

of the Bible and Western Seminary in Portland,
and married Rachel Congdon in 1970. We have
five kids all grown, and five grandsons.
We served as missionaries and as a regional and
national director with American Missionary
Fellowship for 32 years in Oregon, New York and
Pennsylvania.
In 2007 I was called to Pastor the Rome
Community Bible Church which I attended in the
60's. We're lovin' it!
It's been great to re-connect with old friends and
see the "new" school campus.

Remarks: I have been in Alaska for over 30 years
now and am retired as a teacher from North Pole
Middle School.
I do some subbing and have been working at a
tourist shop in North Pole, meeting people from
all over the world. Life is busy with working, being
active in the community, owning a small quilting
business and traveling between Alaska and
Washington to care for family and house. The
plan is to move back to Whatcom County in the
next few years.
I have volunteered to update the Class of 67
addresses in hopes of having a reunion in 2012.

Remarks: After attending PLU, WSU and U of W, I became a Medical Bookkeeper. After 25 years of that kind of work, my husband and I moved back to Bellingham and bought a wholesale plant nursery. (What were we thinking!!)
Now we spend our "retirement" digging in dirt, planting, weeding. We love to have Scott Lidbeck as our pastor now, and still see Kathy VanderYacht-Hillard and even Leora on occasion. Good to be back home!
