Remarks: Retired, and now married to Dorothy for 36/years! I restore and show "antique" engines. In fact I restored two 86 ATV's to ride around the place on. I also fish and hunt when I can get away; there are Deer in the yard quite often. We have a new home with a huge barn on 20 acres. The Barn is equipped with bar, toilet, Jukebox, pool table, dart board, boat, Jeep etc. Fun for the whole family, and our friends.

COMMENTS: Attended University of Washington and graduated from Western Washington State College graduating in 1963. Taught elementary school 4 years in Tumwater, WA. Met Sherry Seibold from Olympia while attending summer school at Western in 1964. We married in August of '66. We moved to Anchorage, AK in 1967 where we both taught in elementary schools.
Our two sons were born in '70 and '71. I retired from teaching in 1987 and Sherry retired in '97. I also salmon fished summers in Kodiak from 1969 till 2004. We moved to Palmer, AK in 2006 to our "little farm".
We have become snow birds and travel some in the winter seeking a bit of warm weather usually during Dec, Jan. and Feb. We enjoy our Alaska summers and entertaining "outside" visitors. Hope to get to some of the 51+ gatherings in the future.

COMMENTS: Boeing, Western Electric, AT&T. Work took me into 28 states, retiring in 1979 after telephone work in Saudi Arabia. Retired October 1979 and enjoying it!
With other classmates we started an annual 50(+) reunion in 1996, which is on the Deming Logging Show Grounds... 2nd. Saturday of September. All alumni classes after their 50th anniversary are invited to this reunion.

COMMENTS: Richardetta graduated from Deming High School. When a new building was built for high school students it was then named: Mount Baker High School. The former building became the Deming Grade School.
Her Father was a Deming Homesteader. He laid out the streets, built most of the homes there, built the water works on the hill north of Deming and plumbed the streets.
Richardetta still does the chores of a Woman of the house. She washes clothes on Monday, mops the floor and vacuums on Tuesday etc. She also weeds the yard and tends her flowers. A remarkable women of 101!! and in a few months she has a another birthday. She has been attending our 51+ reunion for the past six years and plans on going to the next one, 10 September 2005.
